From living in a Motel 6 to rocking shows with Rockie Fresh, young rapper Devante Fields has been making a name for himself in Los Angeles. The young rapper from Dallas, Texas left his hometown to pursue a rap career in Los Angeles and it seems to be working out fine. Just last month he performed at a sold out show at the OC Observatory with Rockie Fresh where he had the crowd turnt up!
The artist has gained much popularity from his freestyle videos on YouTube, where he demolishes instrumentals on tracks like "Antidote" by Travis Scott, "44 Bars" by Logic, and "4pm in Calabasas" by Drake, to name a few. However, his EP "Pain Is Temporary" has not been an exception. On that EP Devante Fields vents to the beats and tells his story on the struggles he was going through, the people who turned on him, being broke & homeless, to moving to L.A and turning his life around.
Since then, the rapper has been able to work with artists such as Warren G, Casey Veggies, and Futuristic to name a few. There is no doubt Devante Fields, or D. Fields, is on his way up and next in the game. His work ethic, humility, and amazing flow are a powerful combination that cannot be underestimated and that's why we are going to put you on to his music.
D. Fields, guess the move to L.A wasn't bad at all!
