Del Amo native, Reason, Album "There You Have It" Makes a Heavy Impact on the Streets
Location: Del Amo, CA. In an environment polluted with violence, drugs, partying, peer pressure, affiliations, struggles, laughter, pain, and everything that comes with living in the hood, accomplishing your dreams and making a way for your loved ones seems nearly impossible. Along the road family and friends switch on you, they begin to show jealousy, hatred towards your success, and eventually plot to see your downfall.
But, if the ambition and perseverance to succeed is present, with a little bit of patience and God, everything will fall into place. LA native, Reason, is a clear example of this. Releasing what is perhaps one of his realest albums today, "There You Have It" has become a favorite among the gangsters and dream chasers.
Beginning the album with the song "There You Have It", Reason put everything on the table and proceeded to incorporate the highly recognized single, "Kurupt". Keeping the West Coast gangster flow intact, along with a dope beat and lyrics, a fuckin' banger was made that even Source Magazine could not help and share this gem coming from the LA native.
A few songs into the album you can find the song "Thirst". Perhaps one of the hardest and realest songs that almost everyone can relate to, Reason tells a story about going to a flyer party in the hood, paying the $5 entrance and meeting a chick he wants to take home, but like always, there has to be a problem and he's no stranger to the streets, so he's ready to pop the trunk open when shit pops off.
However, not only does Reason keep it real on the album and speaks for the hustlers in the ghetto; he has also become a source of motivation for the youth and aspiring artists in the city. In tracks like "Colored Dreams: Killers, Pt. 2" and "Better Dayz" the Del Amo artist speaks on his personal life and situations that made him the person he is today. Very deep and inspirational messages like these is what the rap game was missing.
Overall, the album is HOT and really pleasurable to listen from start to finish. A true album for the streets, gangsters, and dream chasers. This album is an insight to the life of an LA native living in the hood, fighting his demons, coming out from jail, and striving to achieve one of his many dreams to become one of the top rappers from Los Angeles. It is a motivational, entertaining, and emotional album in which the artist's emotions and ambition can be felt.
There is no denying that hard work pays off, thus the Reason his album has not gone unnoticed. No pun intended.
